Description
Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg/Telemetry / Progressive Care Unit (PCU) (Days)
Location: Sioux City, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- May float within the same discipline across local campuses, including Emergency Department (ED).
- Work schedule: 12-hour day shifts.
- Typical hours: 36-40 hours/week; overtime billable after 40 hours.
- Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa.
- Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience, including telemetry experience within the last year.
- Step-down nursing experience.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification.
- Valid driver’s license.
Orientation
- Orientation sessions are scheduled regularly, approximately every two weeks from January through December.
Additional Information
- Overtime/Holiday pay multiplier: 1.15x
- Call back pay multiplier: 1.5x with a minimum 2-hour call back.
- On-call pay: $9/hour.
- Charge/Precept pay: $6/hour.
