Radiation Therapist

Location: Newport Beach, California
Employment Type: Local Contract (Clinical - Allied)
Contract Length: 9 weeks (LOA Coverage - 3 months initial assignment)
Shift: Monday to Friday, 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Hours: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
Travel: Travel required between Newport Beach and Irvine

Job Summary

• Perform tumor localization, participate in treatment planning, and deliver high doses of ionizing radiation treatment according to Radiation Oncologists’ prescriptions and instructions.
• Maintain knowledge of departmental procedures, specialized instrumentation, quality control, and preventive maintenance.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement processes.
• Demonstrate a work style aligned with the department’s mission, vision, and values.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiation Therapist license in California
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy or equivalent
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Minimum of 1 year of Radiation Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
