Surgical Technologist (General/Vascular OR) - Zanesville, Ohio

Job Type

• Contract assignment
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• 40 hours per week
• Four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts (start and end times negotiable)
• Approximately every 5th weekend on call (split between Call 1 and Call 2)
• 1-2 call shifts per week (split between Call 1 and Call 2)
• Call requires a 30-minute response time from call to on-site arrival
• Possible holiday call rotation depending on patient census and staffing
• Guaranteed weekly hours adjusted based on agreed hours during interview

Job Description

• Requires a highly skilled and experienced Surgical Technologist with broad current experience in Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Vascular, and other surgical specialties
• Candidates lacking full breadth of current experience will not be considered
• Excellent critical thinking skills and knowledge of central processing and instrumentation required
• Candidates with minimal requested time off (RTO) will receive priority consideration

Required Qualifications

• Surgical Technologist with at least 3 years of experience
• Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Additional Information

• Facility reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours during the 13-week contract; cancellations are not limited to 12-hour shifts
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at submission and included in the confirmation to be honored
• Compliance with contract start/end dates and RTO is mandatory for agency participation
