Description
Registered Nurse - Surgical/Orthopedic (Days)
Location: Bangor, Maine
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Hours per Week: 36
Job Summary
- Provide patient care under the supervision of the Unit Director and Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse.
- Perform nursing functions in accordance with the State of Maine Board of Nursing and facility policies.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Maine
- Minimum of 3 years of Med Surg experience, with at least some experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- MOAB or CPI certifications.
Additional Information
- Up to 16 hours of orientation, which is unpaid.
- The facility may cancel up to 3 shifts during the 13-week contract.
- Travelers living within 50 miles of the facility will receive a reduced local rate.
