Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel/Contract

Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each; 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

• Position requires floating between multiple hospital campuses within the system.
• Every other weekend work is mandatory.
• First-time travel therapists are accepted.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Indiana
• Minimum 1.5 years of Registered Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
• 18 months of recent ICU experience
• ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification

Additional Information

• Indiana RN license holders are restricted from working at these facilities effective 11/30/2024, except for perioperative, ambulatory, and certain allied roles.
• Floating between multiple campuses is required.
• Candidates must confirm awareness and comfort with every other weekend shift requirement before submission.
• Prior travel experience is not required.
• Candidates will be paid for time spent completing mandatory RRT modules.
• On-site fit testing is limited and requires prior approval except at certain campuses.
• Facility-specific compliance and confidentiality forms must be completed prior to start.
• Orientation includes completion of self-study packets and tests via DocuSign.

This position is ideal for experienced Respiratory Therapists comfortable with ICU settings, flexible scheduling, and working across multiple hospital locations.
