Job Details

• Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist - RCIS)
• Location: Beloit, Wisconsin
• Contract Length: 26 weeks (approximately 6 months)
• Shift: Days
• Hours: 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week
• Call: 1-2 nights per week and every 3-4 weekends
• Orientation: 1-2 days, in-person and on-unit, includes testing

Job Responsibilities

• Scrub, circulate, and monitor during procedures
• Assist in ambulatory bay and inpatient bedside procedures as needed
• Assist with electrophysiology (EP) procedures, including ICD and pacemaker placement
• Use equipment such as Siemens fluoroscopy, angiojet, balloon pump, Impella, and merge hemodynamics
• No floating to other units; work is not in rotation with permanent staff

Required Qualifications

• Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Wisconsin
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
• Recent Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification via Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association

• Hospital will perform a physical and drug screen on the first day
• Beloit, WI is challenging for travelers with pets, especially large ones; housing should be checked prior to placement
