Job Opportunity: Rad Tech - Interventional Radiology

Location

  • Hendersonville, Tennessee

Employment Type

  • Travel assignment

Contract Length

  • 12 weeks

Work Schedule

  • Monday to Friday, 9-hour shifts
  • One day off per week
  • On-call rotation after hours (72 hours per pay period)
  • Approximately 36 hours per week

Unit and Work Environment

  • Interventional Radiology and Cath Lab setting
  • 3 interventional labs
  • Patient care team per procedure: 1 scrub Radiologic Technologist (RT), 1 circulating Registered Nurse (RN), and 1 recording RT or RN
  • Equipment: GE cath lab
  • Documentation system: Merge
  • Floating policy: Staff may float to Electrophysiology (EP) or Interventional Radiology (IR) if experienced; all staff rotate

Procedures Performed

  • Left heart angiograms
  • Percutaneous coronary interventions
  • Pacemaker implants
  • Ports and drains
  • Abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) repairs
  • STEMI interventions
  • Additional interventional procedures

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist, including experience within the last year
  • Cath Lab Technologist experience
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Advanced scrub skills required

Additional Information

  • Dress code: Ceil blue scrubs required
  • Experience in interventional radiology and electrophysiology is a bonus
