Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology RN (Days)

Location

  • Warwick, Rhode Island

Employment Type

  • Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

  • Full-time, 8-hour shifts with flexible rotating day hours (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
  • Department hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Rotating call required for nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Description

  • Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology (IR) nursing experience covering all phases of care: pre-, intra-, and post-procedure
  • Vascular experience preferred
  • Moderate sedation experience required

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Rhode Island
  • Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology nursing experience
  • Interventional Radiology experience within the last year
  • Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Moderate sedation experience
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Valid Driver's License

Additional Notes

  • Prior vascular and scrubbing experience is preferred but not mandatory
  • Rotating call includes nights, weekends, and holidays, requiring flexibility
  • All required documentation and testing must be completed prior to or upon onboarding

This position is ideal for experienced Interventional Radiology RNs seeking a structured day shift role with rotating call responsibilities in a hospital setting.
