Job Opportunity: Labor and Delivery Nurse (Registered Nurse)

Schedule

• Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each)
• Weekends: Every other weekend required
• Call: Not required
• Floating: As needed within scope

Facility & System Requirements

• Locals allowed
• No radius restriction
• First-time travelers accepted
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: Cerner
• Block scheduling: Willing to discuss during interview

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State
• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Experience with Cerner Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system

• Clear headshot photo for badge (no hats or sunglasses, in scrubs)
• References: 2 professional references within 2 years required for travel positions
• Employment application and resume required
• Skills checklist updated annually for applicable unit
• Performance evaluations required if previously worked with the agency over 1 year

This position offers an opportunity to work in a critical care setting with a focus on labor and delivery nursing during night shifts in a rural hospital environment. Candidates should be prepared for weekend rotations every other week and occasional floating duties within their scope of practice.
