Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab (Days)

Location: Batesville, Arkansas
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Deliver patient care using the nursing process according to established standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care and desired outcomes.
• Provide physical and psychological support to patients.
• Interact professionally with patients, families, and visitors.
• Must be able to interpret cardiac rhythms, perform circulating and monitoring duties in the Cath Lab.

Work Schedule

• Day shift, 8 hours per day.
• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted and approved at the time of application; no more than 5 days of RTO allowed.
• Scheduling requests made after offer or at interview will not be approved and may result in offer rescission.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Arkansas
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience, including experience within the last year
• Current American Heart Association certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
• Ability to perform circulating and monitoring duties in the Cath Lab, including interpretation of cardiac rhythms

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MediTech EMR system.

Additional Information

• Dress code: Hospital-provided scrubs.
• Applicants residing within 90 miles of Batesville will not be considered; those between 90-150 miles may be reviewed but are less likely to be selected.
• Traveler’s permanent address and any requested time off must be included in the profile at submission.
