Description
Registered Nurse - Telemetry (Travel)
Location: Aurora, Colorado
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours
Unit Information
- Unit: Telemetry (CC4 Telemetry)
- Number of Beds: 345
- Recognized with 3-time Magnet Designation
- Staff: Float pool of about 80
- Patient Ratios: Approximately 1:5 (varies by unit and shift)
- Equipment: Various medical equipment used
- EMR System: Meditech / CPN
- Patient Population: Large cardiac population with 2 telemetry floors and a progressive care unit (PCU) floor
- Floating: Nurses float to all inpatient Med/Tele and Rehab units
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado
- Minimum 1 year of telemetry experience within the last year
- Acute care experience
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS
- De-escalation skills in a healthcare setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong telemetry experience
- Chemotherapy certification (preferred for scheduling on Oncology unit)
