X-Ray Technician Travel Opportunity
Location: Morristown, New Jersey
Employment Type: Travel - Allied Health
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: PM (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM)
Hours: 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week
Job Description
- Perform imaging and treatment processes following state, federal, and professional guidelines
- Maintain imaging equipment, ensuring safety and patient comfort during procedures
- Monitor and coordinate daily imaging procedures, including any necessary revisions
- Must be comfortable working in the Operating Room (OR) environment
- Ability to work independently in a large facility (approximately 900 beds)
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiology Technologist license in New Jersey
- Minimum 18 months of experience as a Radiology Technologist, including experience within the last year
- At least 18 months of total travel experience as a Radiology Technologist
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Experience as an X-Ray Technician
- Experience with GE Healthcare imaging equipment
Additional Information
- Knowledge of current trends and advances in clinical practice and healthcare informatics, including new hardware and software technology, is expected
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
