Job Opportunity: RN Emergency Room (Weekend Evening Shift)

Location: Baltimore, Maryland
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 3:00 PM – 3:30 AM (Evening)
Schedule: Every other weekend plus holidays


Job Description

  • Registered Nurse needed for Emergency Department weekend evening shifts.
  • Requires 2 years of acute care experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Maryland.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience, with at least some experience within the last year.
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
  • Ascension Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training.
  • Ascension EKG Exam certification.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Acute Care experience.

Additional Information

  • Onboarding includes completion of specific modules and attestations prior to clearance.
  • Some health and competency requirements must be updated periodically (annually or every few years).
  • Optional unit-specific checklist may be required by unit leadership within one week of start.

This position is ideal for experienced Emergency Room RNs seeking weekend evening shifts with a structured onboarding and credential verification process.
