Description
Job Opportunity: RN Emergency Room (Weekend Evening Shift)
Location: Baltimore, Maryland
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 3:00 PM – 3:30 AM (Evening)
Schedule: Every other weekend plus holidays
Job Description
- Registered Nurse needed for Emergency Department weekend evening shifts.
- Requires 2 years of acute care experience.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Maryland.
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience, with at least some experience within the last year.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
- Ascension Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training.
- Ascension EKG Exam certification.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Acute Care experience.
Additional Information
- Onboarding includes completion of specific modules and attestations prior to clearance.
- Some health and competency requirements must be updated periodically (annually or every few years).
- Optional unit-specific checklist may be required by unit leadership within one week of start.
This position is ideal for experienced Emergency Room RNs seeking weekend evening shifts with a structured onboarding and credential verification process.
