CVOR Tech - Travel/Contract
Location: Bloomington, Indiana
Specialty: Surgical Services
Shift: Day (4x10 hours), 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Job Description
- Position in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
- First-time travelers accepted
- Must be willing to float to General OR cases (confirm acceptance before assignment)
- Unit performs all surgical specialties except transplant in a 13-room OR
- Special equipment includes 2 Xi DaVinci Robots
Required Qualifications
- CVOR Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience
- CVOR Technologist experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
Contract Details
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Additional Notes
- Must complete facility-specific forms and acknowledgements as a priority before start
- HIPAA and safety manual acknowledgements required
- Orientation and compliance packets must be reviewed and signed prior to start
- On-site fit testing available only as a last resort and requires prior approval
- PAPR use requires facility approval prior to start
