CVOR Tech - Travel/Contract

Location: Bloomington, Indiana
Specialty: Surgical Services
Shift: Day (4x10 hours), 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Hours per Week: 40


Job Description

  • Position in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
  • First-time travelers accepted
  • Must be willing to float to General OR cases (confirm acceptance before assignment)
  • Unit performs all surgical specialties except transplant in a 13-room OR
  • Special equipment includes 2 Xi DaVinci Robots

Required Qualifications

  • CVOR Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience
  • CVOR Technologist experience within the last year
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)

Contract Details

  • Contract length: 13 weeks

Additional Notes

  • Must complete facility-specific forms and acknowledgements as a priority before start
  • HIPAA and safety manual acknowledgements required
  • Orientation and compliance packets must be reviewed and signed prior to start
  • On-site fit testing available only as a last resort and requires prior approval
  • PAPR use requires facility approval prior to start
