Description
Occupational Therapist (OT) Travel Position - Ottumwa, Iowa
Position Details
- Job Type: Travel contract
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day shift
- Hours per Week: 32 hours guaranteed
- Weekend Requirement: Minimum 1 weekend per month
- Call Requirements: None
- Float Requirement: Yes, floating between Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) and Medical-Surgical (MS) units to cover evaluations and treatments as needed
Work Environment
- Unit Location: 2nd floor
- Units: ARU (13 beds) and MS (24 beds)
- Patient Population: Geriatric, adult, general diagnosis
- EHR System: Net Health documentation
- Supervisor: Reports to Program Director
Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Iowa
- Minimum 1 year of Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
Additional Information
- Dress Code: Scrubs of any color allowed; pajamas and torn clothing are not acceptable
- Number of Openings: 1 OT position available
This opportunity is suitable for Occupational Therapists seeking a travel assignment with a moderate contract length, working primarily day shifts with some weekend coverage and floating responsibilities across rehabilitation and medical-surgical units.
