Location

Position Details
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Specialty: Registered Nurse (ER, Med/Surg, Acute Care)
- Shift: Night shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36 hours guaranteed
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Floating: Yes, within scope to meet facility needs
- First-time travelers accepted
- Locals accepted; no radius restrictions
- Pending and Compact RN licenses accepted
- On-call: No
- Guaranteed Hours: Yes (options for 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts with guaranteed weekly hours)
- Block scheduling: Can be requested
- Return to Office (RTO) restrictions: Maximum 5 days off; no time off within first two weeks
Facility Overview
- Type: Acute Care Hospital with 24-hour emergency care
- Beds: 25 staffed beds
- Trauma Level: IV
- Services: Full medical and surgical services, plus attached 71-bed skilled extended care facility
- Charting System: Cerner
- Parking: Free
- Housing: Free housing available
- Dress Code: Scrub color flexible (refer to dress code policy)
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Montana
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Certifications issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
Compliance and Documentation Requirements
- Background Checks:
- 7-year criminal background check (updated annually)
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start
- Health Documents:
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (various acceptable testing options)
- Immunizations or positive titers for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B
- Flu vaccine or signed declination form during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31)
- COVID vaccination required; exemptions accepted
- Negative 9-panel drug test within 1 year
- Annual Requirements:
- Skills checklist
- Orientation safety manual acknowledgment
- Competency exams as applicable (medication/pharmacology and specialty-specific)
- Facility-specific documents to review and sign before start, including dress code, parking policy, confidentiality, emergency codes, and agency contract certification
Additional Notes
- No on-call duties required
- Floating within scope to meet facility needs

- Facility will conduct fit mask testing onsite on first day
This position is suitable for RNs with at least 1 year of acute care experience, including ER and Med/Surg exposure, who are open to travel assignments and night shifts. First-time travel nurses and locals are welcome to apply.
