    Radiation Therapist - Travel/Contract

    Location: Edmonds, Washington
    Contract Length: 13 weeks


    Job Details

    • Schedule Options:
      • 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM or 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM)
      • 4 days a week, 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
    • No weekends, no call, no floating required
    • Start Date: ASAP

    Required Qualifications

    • Valid Radiation Therapist license in Washington
    • Minimum 2 years of Radiation Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
    • Completion of at least one travel assignment as a Radiation Therapist
    • BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
    • Experience with Epic electronic health record system

    Compliance and Documentation Requirements

    • Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
    • Social Security Card (as applicable)
    • Background Check within 90 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years; must be updated annually
    • Education Verification (degree/diploma/transcript as applicable)
    • Employment Application covering at least last 5 years
    • Minimum of 2 professional references covering 1 year of employment within last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
    • Physical Exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO, indicating ability to work with or without accommodation
    • Drug Screen: 9-panel within 12 months of start (instant acceptable)
    • Immunizations and Health Requirements:
      • TDAP vaccine within 10 years (declination accepted)
      • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months, updated annually
      • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
      • Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
      • Varicella vaccination or positive titer
      • Seasonal Flu vaccine during flu season (declination accepted)
      • COVID-19 vaccination record preferred (declinations not required)
    • Respirator Safety Clearance (RespSafety) required annually for travel candidates
    • Annual regulatory and specialty-specific training modules via LMS required

    Additional Notes

    • Radiation badges issued by facility (not required pre-hire)
    • Float policy acknowledgment required; may be asked to float to nearby facilities
    • WA State Patrol background search required within 90 days of start for Washington placements
    • Epic training modules must be completed within a week of orientation; transcripts required
    • Photo for badge required (passport style, neutral background)
    • Candidates must complete all required Workramp training modules annually unless returning within a year with no gap

    This position is ideal for experienced Radiation Therapists with prior travel contract experience who are proficient with Epic and seeking a day-shift schedule without weekends or call.
