Registered Nurse - ICU (Travel)
Location: Hendersonville, Tennessee
Unit: Critical Care Unit (CCU)
Job Details
- Employment Type: Travel
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Hours per Week: 36 hours
- Scheduling: 3 weekend shifts per 4 weeks
- Patient Ratio: 2:1 (CCU patients)
- Unit Beds: 20
- Floating Policy: Contract labor floats before core staff
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Equipment: GE monitors (recently upgraded), Alaris pumps, Puritan Bennett ventilators
- Dress Code: Black scrubs

Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
- Minimum 1 year of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Experience with Meditech documentation system
Additional Information
- Unit has a unit secretary on days and nights with occasional tech support
- Focus on advanced critical care skills and technology integration to enhance patient care quality
