Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health (Travel)
Location: Highland Hills, Ohio
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Position Overview
- Role: Assessment Specialist RN
- Specialty: Intake in Behavioral Health
- Shift: 3:00 PM – 3:30 AM, Friday through Sunday
- Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed
- Weekend Hours: Yes
- Call Requirements: None
- Unit Profile:
- Number of Beds: 24
- Patient Ratios: 1 nurse to 4 patients
- Patient Population: Adults ages 18-99
- Common Diagnoses/Treatments: Detox, depression, psychosis
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- Behavioral Health nursing experience of at least 2 years
- Behavioral Health experience within the last year
- BLS certification
- Handle With Care (HWC) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Work Environment & Expectations
- Orientation held weekly on Mondays
- Candidates must live 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel staff
- Float requirements: Not specified
- Personality Fit: Compassionate about mental health, able to remain unbothered by patient comments, proactive during downtime
- Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs or business casual; hoodies are not allowed
