Work Schedule

• Day shifts, 5 days per week, 8 hours per day
• Shift start times vary: 6:15 AM - 3:45 PM or 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiology Technologist license in California
• Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
• BLS - Basic Life Support certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Background and Compliance Requirements

• 7-year background check required within 6 months of start, including SSN trace with all aliases, county searches, nationwide sex offender search, education verification, and motor vehicle report if applicable
• FACIS Level 3 screening required within 2 weeks of start and monthly thereafter (or equivalent checks if FACIS III cannot be run)
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required and updated annually
• Education verification of highest level achieved (not required if highest education is high school)
• Sex offender search within 90 days of start
• Drug screening: Negative 9-panel drug screen within 6 months of start (excluding marijuana/cannabinoids per California law)
• Employment application must include full 7 years of work history with no gaps; employment verification required for up to 7 years
• Two professional references required within 3 years for clinical and allied health candidates

Certifications (as applicable)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, CCRN, TNCC, EFM, CPI, NIH Stroke Certification, and others may be required depending on position specifics (verify with employer)
• IV Certification may be required for some imaging techs (verify with employer)
• State license verification and NURSYS verification required within 30 days of start

Health and Immunization Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start, including clearance for work
• Fit mask test within 1 year of start, renewed annually (specific mask types required)
• Adult Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccination within 10 years or lifetime TDAP with booster within 10 years
• Negative TB test (QGold or TSPOT within 90 days) or 2-step PPD; annual renewal required
• Immunity or vaccination documentation required for:

  • Measles (Rubeola)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (series or declination)
  • Varicella
• Seasonal flu vaccination required during flu season (Nov 1 - Apr 30) or signed declination; mask required if no vaccination proof
• Drug testing: Negative 9-panel drug screen within 6 months of start (excluding marijuana/cannabinoids)

Additional Requirements

• Completion and signing of facility-specific documents prior to start, including:

  • Job description acknowledgment
  • Standards of Business Conduct
  • Vendor training and Code of Conduct (updated for 2024 and 2025 contracts)
  • Conditional offer of employment attestation
  • TB screening questionnaire signed by candidate and healthcare provider
  • Religious exemption forms if applicable (for facial hair or vaccine exemptions)
• Competency exams and medication/pharmacology tests as applicable by profession
• Onsite EKG exam required for ICU and MS/Telemetry RNs at certain locations (not applicable for this role unless specified)
• Photo for badge (for per diem only)
