Physical Therapist Travel Position - Anchorage, Alaska

Job Details

  • Employment Type: Travel
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Work Schedule:
    • 4 days per week
    • 10-hour day shifts
    • Rotating schedule including weekends (2-3 weekends per month)
  • Hours per Week: 36
  • Unit Type: Inpatient acute care
  • Patient Load: 8-10 patients daily
  • EMR System: EPIC
  • Dress Code: Light green scrubs

Unit Information

  • Number of Beds: 175
  • Therapy Staff: Approximately 60 providers including PT, OT, SLP, PTA, COTA
  • Shift Staffing Example (Day): 1 charge, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1-3 sitters
  • On Call: Not required

Required Qualifications

  • License: Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in acute care settings
  • Skills: Acute care experience is mandatory

Preferred Candidate Attributes

  • Ability to work independently
  • Comfortable with weekend rotations

This position is ideal for Physical Therapists with acute care experience seeking a travel assignment in an inpatient hospital setting with a structured rotating schedule.
