Description
Operating Room Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)
Location: Baltimore, Maryland
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each; 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Job Description
- Provide safe, age-appropriate patient care in the Operating Room.
- Serve as an advisor and resource for patients and their families.
- Work in surgical services including Trauma, ENT, Colorectal, Plastics, Neurosurgery, Surgical Oncology, Oral/Dental, Laparoscopic Procedures, Urology, Ophthalmology, GYN, General Surgery, Orthopedic, Robotics, Vascular, Thoracic.
- Participate in a clinical environment known for advanced technology, minimally invasive techniques, evidence-based care, surgical education, and academic collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland.
- Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience, with OR experience within the last year.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Trauma experience.
- Experience in the following surgical specialties:
- ENT Surgery
- Colorectal Surgery
- Plastic Surgery
- Neurosurgery
- Surgical Oncology
- Ophthalmology
- Urology
- OB/GYN
- Orthopedic Surgery
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification or competency.
