Description
Registered Nurse (NICU) - Travel Assignment
Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 (3 shifts of 12 hours each)
Shift Details: Rotating weekends and holiday requirements
Unit Information
- Unit: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- Number of Beds: 60
- Patient Ratios: 2-3 patients per nurse
- Staffing: No techs available in NICU; unit secretaries present
- Equipment: Philips Monitors
- Documentation Systems: Meditech & Centricity Perinatal
- Floating Policy: May float to comparable high-need areas
- Dress Code: Navy, ceil blue, any shade of grey, or white scrubs; no long sleeves, watches, rings, or nail polish allowed
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
- Minimum 2 years of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Additional Information
- Schedule: 3 twelve-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends and holidays
