Registered Nurse (PACU) - Travel Assignment
Location: Chattanooga, Tennessee
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours
Unit Overview
- Unit: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
- Number of Beds: 16
- Patient Ratio: 1:2
- Staffing: No unit secretary or tech support; only RNs on staff
- Equipment: Bedside monitors, arterial lines (a-lines)
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Scheduling: 12-hour shifts with call rotations
- Floating Policy: No floating between units
- Patient Experience Focus: OAS CAHPS
- Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs
- Team Environment: Emphasizes great teamwork
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Tennessee
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
- ACLS
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Additional Information
- Preferred Certifications: CCRN and CAPA preferred but not mandatory
