Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU

Location: Ann Arbor, Michigan
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Job Description

• Provide nursing care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting.
• Shift covers overnight hours.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Michigan
• Minimum of 1 year of Stepdown (PCU) nursing experience within the last year
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Onboarding and Compliance Requirements

• Drug Screen: 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start (no THC).
• Background Checks: Federal, nationwide, and county criminal background checks from last 7 years, including SSN verification, dated within 30 days of start.
• Education Verification: Highest academic degree or diploma verified.
• Professional Forms:

  • Signed Code of Conduct form.
  • Confidentiality and Information Security Agreement.
  • Conflict of Interest Disclosure form.
  • Integrity and Audit Services form.
  • Criminal Background Check report.
  • EPLS and OIG exclusion reports dated within 30 days.
  • NSO (National Sex Offender) check dated within 30 days.
• Specialty Competency Testing: Specialty-specific competency exam completed within the last year.
• Joint Commission CORE Exam within the last year.
• System Access Form completed and uploaded one week before start.
• Skills Checklist provided by agency for clinical contractors.

• All required documents and verifications must be uploaded to the credentialing system prior to or at onboarding.
• Drug screen and license verifications must be current and dated within specified timeframes.
• Declinations for vaccines are accepted only under specific conditions and locations.
