Registered Nurse (Labor & Delivery)

Location: Corsicana, Texas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM), 3 shifts per week (Sunday through Saturday)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

Provide nursing care in Labor & Delivery and Postpartum units (Nursery experience preferred)
Patient ratios vary by unit:
- Labor: 1:1-2
- Nursery: 1:6
- Postpartum: 1:6
- Mother-Baby couplets: 1:3
Unit size: 14 beds
Electronic Medical Record system: Centricity
Scrub color: Any solid colors or scrubs provided if necessary
No call required
No 48-hour option
No block scheduling
No floating
Maximum requested time off: 36 hours

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Additional Notes
