Job Opportunity: RN-Diagnostic Cardiology

Location

  • Detroit, Michigan

Job Type

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Contract length: 13 weeks

Job Description

  • Provide leadership in coordinating and delivering quality, compassionate patient care.
  • Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and patient/family teaching.
  • Communicate pertinent patient and family information effectively to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in identifying and resolving variances from patient goals.
  • Perform cardiac stress tests in the Cardio Non-invasive lab (expect 4-8 stress tests per shift).

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Michigan
  • Minimum 2 years of cardiology nursing experience, including experience within the last year
  • BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • ACLS certification
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
