Job Opportunity: RN-Diagnostic Cardiology
Location
- Detroit, Michigan
Job Type
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide leadership in coordinating and delivering quality, compassionate patient care.
- Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and patient/family teaching.
- Communicate pertinent patient and family information effectively to the healthcare team.
- Participate in identifying and resolving variances from patient goals.
- Perform cardiac stress tests in the Cardio Non-invasive lab (expect 4-8 stress tests per shift).
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Michigan
- Minimum 2 years of cardiology nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
