Physical Therapist (PT) - Travel Position

Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Job Summary

• Provide inpatient acute rehabilitation therapy in a 40-bed adult/geriatric rehab hospital.
• Deliver customized, intensive rehabilitation for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.
• Typical schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour day shifts, with 1-2 weekend shifts per month.
• No call or float requirements.
• Patient ratio approximately 6:1.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Tennessee
• Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapist experience within the last year
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Experience working with adult and geriatric patient populations

Work Environment & Additional Details

• Shift: Day shift, approximately 32 hours per week.
• Patient population primarily adult and geriatric.
• Common diagnoses treated include stroke, neurological conditions, cardiac issues, debility, and orthopedic injuries.
• Personality fit: flexible and dependable.
• Scrub color: Navy blue.
• Report time: 7:45 AM.
