Description

MRI Technologist

Location: Omaha, Nebraska
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Evenings
Hours: 10 hours/day, 40 hours/week
Dress Code: Red uniforms
Call: Required, including holidays as scheduled


Job Summary

Perform quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures under the supervision of a qualified radiologist to ensure accurate imaging for diagnosis and treatment. Participate in teaching and research related to MRI. Must demonstrate effective communication, multitasking abilities, and handle challenging customer interactions with appropriate escalation.

  • Philips MRI Scanner
  • GE MRI Scanner
  • Epic (EMR system)
  • McKesson (imaging system)

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of MRI technologist experience, including experience within the last year
  • ARRT (MR) certification required
  • BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association

Additional Information

  • 12 hours of non-billable orientation (guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation)
  • Call-off policy allows up to 36 hours off every 13 weeks
  • Candidates must be outside a 100-mile radius; local candidates are not accepted
  • Facility has 7 MRI scanners on campus
