Registered Nurse (Emergency Department)

- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Hours per week: 36
Job Summary
- Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and supervise individual patient care using the nursing process.
- Direct co-workers and delegate appropriate tasks.
- Perform duties according to established policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Provide patient and family education from admission through discharge.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
- Implement physician orders as written.
- Maintain availability of equipment and supplies; report malfunctions.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio.
- Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) experience, with recent experience within the last year.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Physical and Work Environment
- Medium physical demand: lifting 20-50 pounds occasionally, 10-25 pounds frequently.
- Exposure to electrical equipment.
- Requires analytical abilities, memory, problem-solving, creativity, communication, collaboration, prioritization, time management, and sound judgment.
- No special environmental or protective equipment considerations.
