Description

Registered Nurse - Transplant

Location: Winston Salem, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Summary

  • Work in a hematology/oncology transplant clinic focusing on peripheral blood transplant cellular therapy.
  • Coordinate patient care from candidate identification through evaluation, cell harvest, and infusion/transplant.
  • Manage a caseload of 8+ patients in various transplant phases.
  • Collaborate with transplant team and physicians; schedule patient appointments and testing.
  • Work autonomously with strong organizational skills.
  • No call, float, or weekend requirements.

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (8-hour shifts)
  • 40 hours per week

Patient Population

  • Patients with hematologic malignancies undergoing transplant evaluation and therapy.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina.
  • Minimum 2 years of Bone Marrow Transplant experience, including experience within the last year.
  • Experience in hematology/oncology nursing.
  • Experience in both acute care and outpatient settings.
  • Transplant experience.
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
