    Description

    NICU Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Position

    Location: Edmonds, Washington
    Employment Type: Travel/Contract
    Shift: Day (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
    Contract Length: 13 weeks


    Job Description

    • Provide nursing care in a Level II NICU unit, caring for infants 32 weeks gestation or greater and normal newborns.
    • Attend vaginal and cesarean deliveries, including high-risk deliveries.
    • Manage respiratory support such as CPAP and BiPAP.
    • Care for infants requiring feeding tubes and syringe pumps.
    • Float to other units as needed.
    • NICU nurses are not expected to care for mother-baby couplets unless already competent in those skills.

    Required Qualifications

    • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), with NICU experience within the last year.
    • Completion of Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
    • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
