Description
Job Opportunity: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse
Location: Richland, Washington
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Role based in an OBGYN clinic setting.
- Responsibilities include managing obstetric emergencies such as placenta previa, ectopic pregnancy, and pregnancy-induced hypertension (gestational hypertension & preeclampsia).
- Expected to triage obstetric emergencies over the phone, respond to inquiries via EPIC and voice messages, and perform clinic duties related to maternity and gynecological care.
- Experience in Labor & Delivery (L&D) is acceptable in lieu of direct OBGYN clinic experience.
Schedule
- Day shift: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (5 days x 8 hours)
- 40 hours per week
- No weekends or call required
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington (or pending application with license to be obtained within 2 weeks of start date)
- Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Experience with Epic electronic medical record system
- Locals are accepted
- First-time travel nurses are welcome
Additional Information
- Start date: ASAP
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week
- Must provide all Return to Office (RTO) restrictions at time of submission.
