Description

Registered Nurse (ICU) - Travel Assignment

Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

Provide nursing care in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting.
Facility is Joint Commission Accredited, a Certified Primary Stroke Center, and a Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI.
The hospital has 199 beds and offers a full spectrum of inpatient and outpatient diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services.
Orientation is held weekly on Mondays.
Travel candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Minimum of 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nursing experience, including experience within the last year.
Certifications required prior to start:
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
Must comply with New Mexico state fingerprinting and background check requirements before hire.
- A 14-day supervised waiver period is allowed while background check results are pending.

This is a travel nursing position.
