Description
Hospice RN - West Virginia
Location
- City: Elizabeth, WV
- Coverage Area: Harrison, Barbour, Upshur, Lewis, Taylor, Doddridge, Wetzel counties
- Worksite: Patient homes and nursing facilities
Job Details
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
- Patients per day: 5-6 visits
- Workload shared between 2 RNs
- Uniform: Royal Blue scrubs
- No weekend or holiday requirements
Patient Population
- Terminally ill patients with diagnoses such as cancer, heart disease, lung disease, dementia, and other end-stage diseases
Required Qualifications
- Current West Virginia RN license
- BLS certification (AHA)
- Minimum 1 year hospice nursing experience
- Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system preferred
Orientation
- Training on EPIC and shadowing with another patient care team member
