Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry

Location: Aurora, Illinois
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (7:30 PM – 7:00 AM)

Job Summary

Seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in Telemetry to provide patient care during night shifts. This is a travel assignment with a duration of approximately 13 weeks.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Illinois
• Minimum 1 year of Telemetry nursing experience within the last year
• BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• DCI/BVP certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Valid Driver’s License

Onboarding and Compliance Requirements

• Health and Immunizations:

  • COVID-19 vaccination (2 doses plus booster or documented declination)
  • MMR (proof of 2 vaccines or positive immunity titer)
  • Hepatitis B (3 immunizations, immune titer, or declination)
  • Influenza vaccine or declination (required during flu season)
  • Varicella vaccination or immunity titer
  • Tdap vaccine (declination not accepted in some regions)
  • Tuberculosis (TB) test within 1 year of start date
  • Annual TB questionnaire
  • Positive PPD with negative chest X-ray (optional)
• Drug Screening: Minimum 10-panel drug screen including THC within 60 days of start. (Note: Specific testing protocols may vary by state.)
• Fit Test: Annual respirator fit test completed prior to start.
• Physical/Health Statement: Annual clearance to work required, completed within 60 days of start.
• Background Check: National criminal background check within one year of start date (some state/unit exceptions apply).
• Identification: Driver’s license, state ID, or passport required. Social Security card or passport for verification.
• Badge Photo: Clear JPEG headshot required for facility badge.
• Employment Eligibility: Form I-9 or agency attestation required.
• Job Description: Signed current job description (within the year) required.
• Education Attestation: Completion and submission of required education modules prior to clearance to start.
• Workplace Violence Prevention Training: DCI/BVP certification required.
