Registered Nurse (LDRP) - Nebraska City, NE

Job Details

• Specialty: LDRP RN with Med/Surg experience
• Shift: Nights
• Hours: 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Patient Care Setting: 4-bed unit with approximately 100-125 births per year
• Patient Types: Antepartum, Triage, Labor, Postpartum, Newborn
• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:2
• Common Drips: Pitocin, Insulin, fluids, Antibiotics
• IV Pumps Used: Alaris
• Charge Nurse: Present on each shift, but does not take patient assignments
• Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend
• Floating: Not required, but helpful to assist in Med/Surg
• Scheduling: Blocked scheduling approved

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in LDRP and Med/Surg nursing
• Licenses/Certifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • BLS (AHA)
  • ACLS (AHA)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• Valid driver’s license within a 50-mile radius of the facility

Additional Information

• RN candidates must pass a 90% score on a pass/fail open book exam during orientation; failure results in contract termination
• Fingernail policy: Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care departments; refusal to comply will result in contract termination
