Respiratory Therapist (Nights) - Washington, Aberdeen
Job Details

- Shift: 12-hour night shift, 5:30 PM to 6:00 AM (36 hours per week)
- Location: Near Pacific Northwest beaches and Olympic National Forest
Job Description
- Provide, coordinate, and direct individualized comprehensive respiratory care based on patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Function with minimal supervision after orientation.
- Accountable to Cardiopulmonary Director or Lead Respiratory Therapist in their absence.
- Strong obstetrics (OB) experience preferred.
- Must be a team player.
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be pre-approved and added to the end of the contract.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Washington
- Minimum of 3 years of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
- Experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 pounds from floor to waist and from wheelchair to bed level.
- Ability to lift 5 pounds overhead.
- Ability to pull 50 pounds from stretcher to bed.
- Ability to push a 150-pound loaded stretcher for 300 feet.
- Auditory ability to perform procedures and take accurate blood pressures.
- Vision adequate to observe patients and perform charting.
- Ability to meet specific criteria for the Cardiopulmonary department.
