MRI Technologist - Westminster, Colorado
Job Details
- Specialty: MRI Tech
- Location: Westminster, Colorado
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Nights (8:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Hours: 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week
- Call/Standby: Required, typically one night per week and one weekend per month
- Weekend and Holiday Requirements: Yes
Department & Equipment
- Department: Radiology - MRI
- MRI Scanners: 1 GE 1.5T
- Average Scans per Day: Approximately 30 (24-hour period)
- EMR/PACS Systems: Epic, Fuki, Synapse PACS
- Radiologist Availability: In-house and online
- IV Start: Required
- Scrub Code: Black pants, Royal Blue top (scrubs not provided)
Required Qualifications
- BLS (AHA) certification
- Certified MRI Technologist - ARRT (MR)
- Previous experience operating GE MRI scanners
Additional Information
- Orientation required; clinicians must be in-state for orientation week even if some modules are remote
- Agency must provide traveler radiation badge
- No floating or coverage of other areas required
- Radius for travel: 60 miles; driver's license must be submitted
