Registered Nurse (ICU) - Neuro Specialty (Travel)

Location: Somerset, Kentucky
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights
Weekly Hours: 36 hours
Weekend Hours: Every other weekend (EOW)
Call Requirements: None

• Offers cardiac care and advanced neurosurgery with Spine Center accreditation

• Medical staff includes more than 170 physicians across 38 specialties

Unit Information

• Specialty: Neuro ICU
• Patient Ratios: 4:1 (Day shift), 5:1 (Night shift)
• Electronic Health Record (EHR) system: Meditech
• Float Requirements: May be required to float within a 25-mile radius
• Orientation: Weekly on Mondays
• Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as Travel

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky
• Neuro ICU experience within the last year (minimum 1 year)
• Experience in an acute care setting
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification prior to start
