Registered Nurse (RN) - LTC/SNF
Location: Sioux Falls, South Dakota
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days
Hours per Day: 12
Hours per Week: 36
Job Description
- Provide nursing care in a Long-Term Care (LTC) / Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting.
- Patient population primarily elderly with multiple diagnoses.
- Facility census approximately 42 beds.
- Nurse-to-patient ratios vary: day shift ratio typically 1:21, can be up to 1:42.
- Electronic Medical Record system used: PointClickCare (PCC).
- Orientation includes 1 day of general orientation plus up to 3 days on the floor with staff.
- Weekend and holiday work required every other week.
- Shifts available in both 8- and 12-hour formats; this position is 12-hour day shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in LTC/SNF nursing.
- Active RN license in South Dakota.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) certification.
- Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) EMR system.
- Charge nurse experience required.
Additional Information
- No on-call or call-back responsibilities.
- Backouts or quits with less than 14 days’ notice will incur a $500 fee.
