Description
Registered Nurse - Emergency Room
Location: Waterloo, Iowa
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 07:00 - 19:30 (Every third weekend and every third holiday)
Job Description
- Work in the Emergency Room setting.
- Scheduled shifts are 12 hours, either 07:00-19:30 or 19:00-07:30.
- Required to work every third weekend and every third holiday.
Required Qualifications
Licensure & Certifications
- Valid RN license in Iowa.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by American Heart Association.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) issued by American Heart Association.
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course).
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention).
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification.
Education
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) experience.
- ED experience must be within the last year.
Additional Notes
- License and certification verifications must be dated within 30 days of start.
- All required documents and certifications must be uploaded to the credentialing system prior to onboarding.
- Prior travel experience is not specified as required for this position.
This position is ideal for an experienced ER RN who is comfortable with long-term assignments and working rotating weekends and holidays.
