Registered Nurse (Med Surg) - Travel Assignment

Location: Roswell, New Mexico
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), every other weekend required
Hours per week: 36

Job Description

• Work on a general medical-surgical unit with some post-op orthopedic and general surgery patients.
• May occasionally float to ICU to care for medical-surgical overflow or step-down patients.
• Patient ratio typically 1:6, sometimes 1:7.
• Unit has 361 beds.
• Electronic Medical Records systems used: Cerner and Mindray Telemetry System.
• Floating is required but rare.
• Block scheduling and 48-hour guarantees may be accommodated if specified in the application.
• Scrubs color: Royal Blue.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Mexico.
• Minimum 1 year of Med Surg nursing experience within the last year.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Additional Information

• No call required.
• Travel assignment with a maximum of 36 hours per week.
• Auto-offers only; no interviews.
• Must be able to work every other weekend.
• Must be willing to float as needed, including occasional ICU assignments.
