• Offers cardiac care and advanced neurosurgery with Spine Center accreditation
• Staff includes over 1,200 healthcare professionals and more than 170 physicians across 38 specialties

Position Details

• Specialty: Neuro ICU
• Shift: Days
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours
• Weekend Hours: Every other weekend (EOW)
• Call: No call requirements
• Patient Ratios: 4:1 (day shift), 5:1 (night shift)
• Electronic Health Record (EHR) system: Meditech
• Float: May be required to float within a 25-mile radius

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky
• Neuro ICU experience of at least 1 year, with experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Certifications required prior to start:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Additional Information

• Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays
• Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel staff
