Radiology Technologist - Boise, Idaho

Job Details

  • Specialty: Radiology Technician
  • Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
  • Contract Length: 9 weeks
  • Shift: 05:00 AM – 05:30 PM
  • Schedule: 3x12 shifts on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
  • Call Requirement: Must take 1 call shift per month
  • Holiday Rotation: Required to work any holidays that fall on normal workdays
  • Experience: Strong Orthro (Orthopedic) experience required

Required Certifications and Licenses

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
  • Valid license/certification verification dated within 30 days of start

Required Qualifications

  • Radiology Technician with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
  • Strong orthopedic experience, including orthopedic technologist experience
  • Current and valid Radiology Technician license/certification appropriate for Idaho
  • BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • PALS certification
  • ARRT certification
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Must meet all credentialing and onboarding requirements including drug screening, background checks, and health verifications (see below)

Onboarding and Compliance Requirements

  • Health and Safety:

    • Fit Test
    • 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start (no THC)
    • COVID-19 vaccine proof (including booster or approved exemption)
    • MMR vaccination proof or immunity titer
    • Hepatitis B vaccination series started prior to start date
    • Influenza vaccine proof or declination (optional)
    • 2 Step PPD or IGRA TB test (with chest x-ray if positive, per regional requirements)
    • Varicella vaccination proof or immunity titer
    • Physical/Health statement confirming fitness to work within the last year
    • Color vision test
  • Professional and Background Checks:

    • Criminal background check (federal, nationwide, county) within last 7 years, including SSN verification
    • Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) dated within 30 days of start (if applicable)
    • Education verification of highest academic degree or diploma/GED
    • Exclusion screenings (EPLS, OIG, NSO) dated within 30 days of start
    • Signed Code of Conduct, Conflict of Interest Disclosure, Confidentiality and Security Agreements, Integrity and Audit Services Form
    • System Access Form completed and uploaded one week before start
    • CORE exam within the last year
    • Skills checklist provided by agency for clinical contractors

Additional Notes

  • All required documents must be scanned and uploaded to the credentialing system prior to or at onboarding.
  • Drug screen must include specific substances such as cocaine, amphetamines, opiates, PCP, benzodiazepines, methadone, and others as listed.
  • Holiday work and call shifts are mandatory parts of the schedule.
  • Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
