Required Qualifications
- Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in California
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist (0 years of experience)
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ARRT or NMTCB or ASCP
- Radiopharmaceutical preparation
- Radiopharmaceutical administration
- Radiation safety
- Equipment calibration
Preferred Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in nuclear medicine
Key Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging and therapeutic procedures
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals
- Operate imaging and auxiliary equipment
- Monitor patients during procedures
- Maintain clinical documentation and records
- Follow radiation safety procedures
- Start IV lines and follow proper injection procedures
- Manage supply inventory and radiopharmaceutical receiving, dispensing, and disposal records
- Submit nuclear charge tickets at the end of each business day
