Cath Lab Tech - Travel/Contract

Location: Charleston, West Virginia
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Details

  • Schedule: 4x10 hour day shifts, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • On-call required with 30-minute response time; weekend call rotation from Friday 7 PM to Monday 7 AM
  • Daily caseload: 8-10 cases per tech
  • Floating: May float within scope if needed but primarily stays in Cath Lab
  • Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
  • Facility type: Short Term Acute Care, Level IV Trauma Center, major teaching hospital
  • Charting system: Cerner
  • Scrub color: Provided
  • Parking: Free for travelers

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in West Virginia
  • Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year

Additional Requirements

  • Must comply with facility-specific policies including dress code, time and attendance, blood administration, and vaccination exemption forms if applicable
  • Orientation is two days (Thursday and Friday) including Cerner Infusion Management training
  • Candidate must complete required inservice training modules prior to start (approx. 4 hours)
  • No floating to sister facilities
  • Must adhere to 100-mile radius rule for travel

Notes

  • WV does not consider RCIS certification sufficient to work in the Cath Lab for this role
  • Weekend requirement is call only
  • Candidate must be competent in all aspects of Cath Lab procedures; no first-timers accepted
  • COVID-19 vaccination is not mandatory; proof of vaccination or signed declination accepted
