Description
Cath Lab Tech - Travel/Contract
Location: Charleston, West Virginia
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Schedule: 4x10 hour day shifts, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- On-call required with 30-minute response time; weekend call rotation from Friday 7 PM to Monday 7 AM
- Daily caseload: 8-10 cases per tech
- Floating: May float within scope if needed but primarily stays in Cath Lab
- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
- Facility type: Short Term Acute Care, Level IV Trauma Center, major teaching hospital
- Charting system: Cerner
- Scrub color: Provided
- Parking: Free for travelers
Required Qualifications
- Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in West Virginia
- Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
Additional Requirements
- Must comply with facility-specific policies including dress code, time and attendance, blood administration, and vaccination exemption forms if applicable
- Orientation is two days (Thursday and Friday) including Cerner Infusion Management training
- Candidate must complete required inservice training modules prior to start (approx. 4 hours)
- No floating to sister facilities
- Must adhere to 100-mile radius rule for travel
Notes
- WV does not consider RCIS certification sufficient to work in the Cath Lab for this role
- Weekend requirement is call only
- Candidate must be competent in all aspects of Cath Lab procedures; no first-timers accepted
- COVID-19 vaccination is not mandatory; proof of vaccination or signed declination accepted
