Cath Lab RN - Texas (Mesquite)

Job Details

• Location: Mesquite, Texas (floating between two nearby facilities)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days, approximately 07:00 - 19:30 (flexible schedule)
• On-Call: Yes, rotating call schedule (12-15 days per month, including every other weekend)
• Charting System: Epic
• Scrubs: Any color allowed; hospital provides scrubs

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
• BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or Red Cross
• ACLS certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Valid Driver’s License

Health and Safety Requirements

• COVID-19 vaccination: 2 doses plus booster or documented declination
• Influenza vaccine or declination required during flu season (Nov 1 - Mar 31)
• MMR: Proof of 2 vaccines or positive immunity titer
• Varicella: Proof of vaccination or immunity titer
• Hepatitis B: Record of 3 immunizations, immune titer, or declination accepted
• Tdap: Required (declinations not accepted in some states)
• TB test: Within 1 year of start date
• Drug screening: Minimum 10-panel test including THC, within 60 days of start
• Color-blind test: Must be completed annually (Relias accepted)
• Fit test: Completed onsite during orientation (optional)

Additional Requirements

• Driver’s license, state ID, or passport required for onboarding
• Agency attestation and various compliance attestations required before start
• Name verification affidavit required if there are discrepancies between credentials

This position is ideal for experienced Cath Lab RNs seeking a 13-week contract with day shifts and rotating on-call duties in the Texas area. Prior IR experience is preferred but not mandatory.
