Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU

Location

Farmington, New Mexico
Level III Trauma Center (performs Level I & II procedures except Open Hearts)
Facility serves Four Corners region (NM, AZ, CO, UT)
Patient population: Adults with mid to high acuity
Facility features: 7 PACU beds, 1:1 to 1:2 patient ratios
Electronic Health Record system: Cerner
Equipment: Mindray

Position Details

Specialty: Phase I Recovery RN in PACU
Recovery for General Surgery, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, OB/GYN, Urology, ENT, Robotics
Shift: Days, 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM
Weekly guaranteed hours: 40
Weekend and evening on-call required
Possible float to PreOp and/or Endoscopy

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Mexico
Minimum 3 years of PACU (Post Anesthesia Care) experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS and ACLS certifications
Trauma experience

Additional Information

Contract length: 13 weeks
Must be able to clear and start within 10 business days of offer acceptance for rapid start
Patient acuity: Mid to high acuity adult patients
Preferred additional experience: Pediatric dental recovery
Call requirements include weekends and evenings
