Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgery Pre Op
Location
- Farmington, New Mexico
- Located in the San Juan River Valley, northwest New Mexico
- Region offers outdoor activities such as hiking, kayaking, and sightseeing
Job Type
- Travel assignment
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- 4x10 hour shifts, Monday through Friday (one day off, not fixed)
- Shift hours: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
- No call required
Unit and Patient Population
- Department: Pre Op (Pre-Operative)
- Trauma Level III facility
- Patient ratio: 1 nurse to 4-5 patients
- Patient population: diverse, all ages
- Electronic Health Record system: Cerner
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
- Pre-Op experience
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Additional Information
- Must be able to clear and start within 10 business days of offer acceptance for rapid start
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
- No float or weekend hours required
